Hit or miss, nothing special
I've stopped at Kruz a few times while in the city, never anything special. It's a basic neighborhood bar, good for drink, their stiff enough and not over priced, no one goes out of their way to get to know you and I never stay for more than one. Never been there on the weekend, so it might be different then.
Waste of time
First of all, there are few good bars for the gay community in Milwaukee...you're better off going to Chicago which is one of the best cities period for bars. This place is in a dumpy old building. Inside it is very small and rather intimate, yet the clientele are NOT remotely friendly. It doesn't really matter however because they are pretty unattractive anyway. Its also very smokey. It looks like it could be a great place, but during each of my visits it has sucked. There is a huge patio and GREAT parking, however you won't want to use the patio 9 months of the year.
Nice place
Was visiting Milwaukee when my host suggested we visit Kruz. It was a great suggestion. The mostly older (30+) crowd was very friendly and everyone had a great time. The bartenders are hot and pour a good drink. I can't wait to go back!
check this place out!!!!
This bar has been redone, and is better than ever. Great new summer patio with a pool table and fire pits. Thanks for opening a comfortable clean place for us guys to socialize at!!!!!!
